HYDRATE CT
Combating Dehydration Amongst vulnerable populations
Renowned recording artist Ben Righter is proud to announce the release of his latest album project, “INTO THE SUN,” which aims to address a critical issue affecting thousands of individuals in the United States: dehydration-related deaths, particularly among those experiencing homelessness.
With a passionate commitment to making a difference, Ben is spearheading an initiative to collect a minimum of 100 cases of water for distribution among local pantries and cooling stations in the Greater Waterbury area. This effort is designed to provide vital hydration resources to those in need and raise awareness about the often-overlooked dangers of dehydration.
To date, Ben's initiative has successfully gathered 15 percent of the water needed to meet this goal.
However, more support is essential to ensure that the mission reaches its full potential. “I believe that together, we can make a significant impact on our community and inspire other cities in Connecticut to replicate this initiative,” said Ben. “Water is a basic necessity, and no one should suffer from dehydration, especially the most vulnerable among us.”
Ben invites community members, local businesses, and organizations to join in this vital mission. Donations of bottled water can be made at designated collection points throughout the Greater Waterbury area.
You may also make cash donations to this initiative by clicking the "DONATE" Link at the bottom of this page.
Together, let’s make a difference and ensure that everyone has access to clean and safe drinking water.
